FIR

Justification:

“Sunridge Gold Corp. is a Canada-based exploration-stage company engaged in the business of acquiring and exploring mineral properties. In Eritrea, Sunridge focuses on exploring three exploration licenses located near Asmara in Eritrea. It also has a 30% interest in the McIntyre? Mine Property in the Red Lake area of northwestern Ontario. On April 13, 2007, the Company completed the acquisition of the remaining 60% of the Asmara Project from Sub-Sahara Resources NL and Africa Wide Resources Limited. The Asmara Project comprises three contiguous exploration licenses: the Medrizien, Debarwa and Adi Nefas exploration licenses covering approximately 825 square kilometers immediately west, north and south of the capital city of Asmara in east-central Eritrea. The Adi Nefas Deposit is on the Adi Nefas License, which is a zinc-gold-copper volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposit. The Gupo Gold Deposit on the Adi Nefas license is a structurally controlled gold deposit.” Sunridge’s presence represents one of the most profitable and viable methods the GOE is pursuing to help generate revenue for the country.

c.) What issues do they care about?
The company is private and as with most companies is profit driven. From initial analysis the company operates and undergoes deals and matters that are most feasible considering the company’s size and capacity.

d.) What does organizational structure look like?
The firm takes on a business approach of top-down where management controls the direction and actions of the firm. The firm’s power to conduct business in Eritrea derives from licenses approved by the Ministry of Mining and the company’s continued relationship with the Ministry. Due to the company’s small size, a great deal of technical outsourcing is done. The company has technical service agreements with Lundin Mining Corporation and MSA Geoservices to effectively develop Sunridge’s Asmara based projects.

Financial Resources (if applicable)

The company is publicly traded whereby stocks are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Lundin Mining is a major shareholder, owning 19% of the company.

Sunridge’s Eritrea Projects
The Asmara Project covers 1,100 square kilometres in central Eritrea, located immediately to the north, south and west of the capital city of Asmara. The infrastructure is excellent with roads, power, water and airports servicing the project area. Within the Asmara Project there are two advanced high-grade gold, copper, zinc, and silver volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) Deposits, Debarwa and Adi Nefas, one advanced gold deposit, named Gupo, and the very large VMS deposit, Emba Derho. In addition, there are several high priority VMS drill targets.

Sunridge Gold has earned 100% of the project. The Eritrean government has a 10% free carried interest.

Sunridge has drilled over 100,000 metres on the project and has completed independent resource estimates on the Debarwa and Adi Nefas deposits and is quickly advancing the very large Emba Derho deposit. An independent resource estimate commenced on August 1, 2007 at Emba Derho to fast track this project due to its increasing importance in the Sunridge portfolio.

Combined with the recently announced resources on the Company's Emba Derho property the total combined metal in the Indicated category defined on the Asmara Project is:

* 2.3 billion pounds of zinc
* 1 billion pounds of copper
* 872,000 ounces of gold
* 27 million ounces of silver
